In 2005, Swift Energy’s proved reserves consisted of approximately 51% crude oil, 38% natural gas and 11% natural gas liquids (NGLs), of which 50% were proved developed. Its proved reserves are concentrated in areas, including 52% in Louisiana, 31% in Texas, 16% in New Zealand and 1% in other states. The Company’s core development and exploration project areas are the AWP Olmos area in South Texas, Brookeland in east Texas, Lake Washington in South Louisiana, Masters Creek in Central Louisiana, and the Rimu/Kauri and TAWN in New Zealand.
