Why I Love Zecco - no commission stock trades
What is Zecco? Zecco is a revolutionary trading service that allows up to 40 free trades per month and then only charges $3.50. I also use Zecco for options and their rates for that are not always the lowest, but are competitive.
Q few brief answers to some questions.
1) Is Zecco safe? Zecco is backed by Penson Worldwide (NASDAQ: PNSN)
2) What’s the catch? None really. You don’t get all of the bells and whistles, but you do get very active management who seeks your advice and makes changes very quickly. I’ll give you an example. Less then a week or so ago I submitted a lengthy survey on the service. Two of my pet peeves with the system were that I could not set my default chart and it automatically set-up new orders as "buys" as opposed to making me choose buy or sell (in quick mode, I stupidly made two buy that were sells). I noted these issues and the changes have already been made.
3) What’s the minimum investment? You need $2,500 to start - so do it today.
I get TONS of emails asking me about fees for these transactions. The fact is that I use Zecco for most (true, not all) of my trades. So yes, I do pay commissions for some of my trades and I do not report them to you, but to the same point I do not report to you the interest I earn on the cash balance of this portfolio, so it tends to even out.

Ha, I noticed those two changes today! It is so much more convienient having a default chart. I asked awhile ago about a trailing stop, and it was soon added too. I love Zecco, and although the customer service and web speed are perhaps not as good as with Charles Schwab, etc, my returns are definetly better.
